What is aromatherapy ?

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to promote health and wellbeing. The oils come from trees and plants and have a wide range of therapeutic properties related to their complex chemistry. Essential oils work via the olfactory and limbic systems causing a response in the brain and body , they also are absorbed through the skin and into the blood stream.

Essential oils at Blue Chamomile are sourced  from a number of reputable companies and are used carefully in the correct dilution often within blends that offer a combination of benefits . These blends are made specifically for an individual client's requirements. I can prepare diffuser blends, inhaler sticks, skin applications and pocket roller balls . Hand made pumice foot soap and a variety of standard blends are also available at my office.
